Danny & Sara Mun

Sara comes to us from Sichuan province and in 2005 she started working for Shepherd’s Field, a foster home for orphans with special needs. The place and kids completely changed her life in a way that she never thought it could. She humbly admits that she was not a big fan of little children before her work at the foster home. To her, they were just a bunch of spoiled, ungrateful, and whiny kids. Little did she know God had brought her there for an incredible and divine purpose; now, her life is all about them! God planted a passion and dream in her to serve them with her life.

Danny, born in Korea, immigrated to the U.S., came to Agape in July of 2011 with the plan to serve for a summer. Quickly, the Lord worked through his heart and showed him the great needs at Agape, especially at Bread of Life Bakery, their training center for aged out orphans and adults in disadvantaged positions. Danny returned to the U.S. to pack his belongings, apprentice at a bakery in NYC, and prepare for what the Lord had in store for him here, in Langfang, China.

While Sara and Danny did not start at Agape together, they surely became one together in 2015. And though they have no children of their own (yet!), they have been able to pour their love into the lives of the little ones and young adults at AFLH as well as their adopted dog, Berkeley.
